Here is the conclusion to this week's haiku jamboree. In the midst of busy days and life's concerns, I hope that in a small way this has been a temporary reprieve. Have a great weekend.
Quiet, deafening--
Countless droplets sound applause
like liquid worship
(With Daniel's permission--thanks, Dan!)
Gleaming expanse shines
in Mr. Clean-like glory
...Brother-in-law's head
Spectators cheer for
what seems like eternity--
Cloud of witnesses
Tractor Tales and Pickup Panic

wait...um...uh...boo hoo
Check out my husband!
I bought him a new razor;
forgot to adjust.
What a shiny head
gotta love a camera phone
you are brave Ali!
(Sigh) I'm just so glad I have a good sport for a brother-in-law! And I think it's very handsome (I can say that because of the twin thing). =)
I decided to take it off the front page and reserve the "special" haiku for those who venture into the comments section:
(Forgive me, Daniel...hee hee)
Gleaming expanse shines
in Mr. Clean-like glory
...Brother-in-law's head
awwww...I liked seeing the picture where Dan looks like a roll-on deodorant
It works much better with the pic Ali.
What was that song by Right Said Fred (Dan paraphrase):
"I'm to sexy for this webpage, too sexy for this webpage..."
Not fair...someone needs to post a pic for those of us out of the loop!!
BTW, I hear our dear father has gotten his a bit short too...anyone seen??? Love ya, dad!
smiles!
seriously?!?! Omg, Dan, I liked the buzz, but I can't get behind this cut! why??? It's not even the right time of the year to do something like this...you're gonna freeze! So do you have to shave the stubble everyday?!?! ewww! Kara, what do you think??? smiles...
Chris...read Kara's haiku again. Back to normal after 2 days though since I shave without a guard but with the adjustment all the way out.
Not a haiku, but the new picture reminds me of when you and I drove to Carlsbad so you could find a house for you and David. I never had seen salt lakes before
